Hello,
Recently I've updated my website from joomla 2.5 to joomla 3.4 after that I've reinstall the latest version of Jevents but no events are showing up in the back end. the old version of jevents is 2.2.8
so how to fix this issue ??
Do you see the JEvents categories and calendars?

You need to modify the database tables directly using phpMyAdmin for example - the catid column in the #_jevents_vevent table and the #_jevents_catmap table if you use multi-category events

Hello,

That is because the module hasn't had a target menu item set? Can you select a JEvents Menu Item in this?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Has it always been this way? I've been using that module without a target menu since day 1 and it worked.... I just found out today that it doesn't work anymore and luckily I found this thread. After assigning a menu it now works.

Hi Derek,

It sure has been! If none is set we will try and find a direct way to view the event but it doesn't always work.

Many thanks
