Event Timezone Label

Is there a way to change the timezone options in the drop down list to read "Eastern Timezone" instead of Americas/New_York...and so on for the additional 4 US Timezones?
Is this after you have configured the timezones you want to be available in the edit screen?

Please try replacing the file administrator/components/com_jevents/fields/jevtimezone.php with this version

then use the translation overrides in Joomla (https://www.jevents.net/frequently-asked-questions/custom-overrides-of-language-strings) to translate 'AMERICAS_NEW_YORK" to "Eastern Timezone"

Thanks Geraint, I'm going to remove the timezone option all together.
