I use user-defined event. In the page layout "icalevent.detail_body"

Hallo, liebe Kinder, endlich ist es so weit! 

Unsere Kindergottesdienste dürfen wieder in der »Arche« in Kirchdorf stattfinden!



 Leider noch nicht in unserem gemütlichen Raum unter dem Dach,

sondern unten in dem großen Saal, da wir dort die Abstandsregeln einhalten können.





Am Sonntag, den 30. August um 11.00 Uhr starten wir mit dem ersten Kindergottesdienst wieder in der »Arche«, unter Einhaltung der Hygienevorschriften.



Wir: Aline, Jonas und Brigitte freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen mit vielen Kindern von 4-12 Jahren aus Kirchdorf und Langreder. Infos bei Brigitte Schreiber unter Tel.-Nr.: (05105) 82141 oder E-Mail



The problem is that when the event is displayed, not all of the text is displayed as if there is a character limit somewhere. The link to the event is https://www.kirche-kirchdorf-langreder.de/gottesdienste/Eventdetail/4953/54|60/kinderkirche-in-der-%E2%80%9Earche%E2%80%9C see for yourself. How do I get the complete event text displayed?
That is very strange - when you 're-edit' this event is the whole description there?

On a separate now , ideally when you are copying content from MS Word you should remove the <span> formatting tags

Hello,

I've now taken out all of the SPAN formatting. Now the event looks like this.

Editor ist JCE Pro not MS Word.

The double point is always deleted here in the editor, but it is correct for me

above the copy went wrong. So everything was correct, nevertheless the error in the final output.

Unfortunately I cannot give you a login. I can send you screens with pleasure. what you need. It really looks like the characters to be displayed are limited in the display.

I don't think you answered the question I asked - when you re-edit the event is ALL the description there or is it truncated?

I suspect your WYSIWYG editor is dropping some of the description if the HTML isn't all completely valid.

Can you type in some really long description text without ANY HTML.

I found the problem.

It is the "Content - Auto Read More" plugin.

Unfortunately, the Read More symbol was not displayed.

But it is possible to exclude mod. Which mod does the ad bring?

ok, then I'll leave the "Read more" plugin deactivated for now. That's how it works anyway. Thanks for your help.
