error message after updating

hi there,

after updating joomla recently I am getting the following error on the page "Warning
JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 706"

I'm not sure if the two are connected but do you have any ideas? the page where my calendar is on is not accessible

It would appear you have removed user with the ID of 706 but that user still exists within the database?

I would suggest going to JEvents and filter events but the blanks in the list of creators then change the event creators.
