Error installing package | JEvents 3.6.73

Hi there,
I want to test Jevents and try to install the package. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I tried to install the latest version on J4 and J5 and I always get error messages.
If I try to uninstall the broken package I also get an error message. I cannot remove the corrupt files. I also have 8 DB entries (removable).
Any idea why that happend?

I've just tried installing version 3.6.75 on a brand new Joomla 4.4 site with no problems

I just tried the same with J5 and JE 3.6.75. Same error. Any idea what is going wrong?

Rather than trying to uninstall first - you should be able to install on top of the existing installation (even if its incomplete)

If that doesn't work can you give me access to a site where you are having this problem?
