Hi,

Using jevents for a while for our website and are quite happy with it. Since a few weeks however it isn't possible anymore to create new events. As soon as we try to save a new events a duplicate entry error pos up.

Duplicate entry '330' for key 'PRIMARY'

Tried everything including an uninstall but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Thank you in advance.
Hello Peter,

I have fixed this for you on your site now. I suspect your host had a crash and restored some tables but leaving the old auto-incremental value behind, I've increased this now and all is well.

Many thanks

Hello,

Uninstalling wouldn't touch the database since we leave this behind for scenarios like this.

So it is saying it's trying to insert an event and the primary key is already taken. Can you please provide your JEvents Support Info from your JEvents Control Panel?

Many thanks
Tony

It should be fine, given the complexity of the issue can you provide me super user and phpmyadmin logins so I can take a look at resolving this for you?

Yes, all seems well now.

Can you tell me what you did in case I get stuck again (we use JEvents on a TON of sites)? I'm pretty good with phpmyadmin. Thanks!

I'm experiencing this issue, but do not have authority to give out DB usernames and passwords at the moment, can you explain what needs to be done to remedy it, it sounds fairly simple?
Many thanks
