Hi there,

I am running JEvents on my joomla site for 5 years and never hat any problems that were not solvable. Today I wanted do adjust the configuration in the backend and when I hit the "Save" button I always get the error:

403 Forbidden: Access to this resource on the server is denied!

I do not really understand where to look for the solution. I did not really find any helpful infos by searching the web. I had a longer chat with our hoster and they also weren't able to find the solution.

There are no problems in adding new dates or deleting or hiding.

My site is updated to the last possible version of JEvents(3.4.57 ) and Joomla(3.9.10).
Hello

This isn't good to hear! Can you ask your host if they use litespeed and mod_security? I've noticed throughout joomla a few 403's in the last few months due to mod security rule being hit.

If it is the case, if you ask your host to monitor triggered 403's within mod_security they should be able to find the rule to whitelist.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello tabletguy

The php version doesn't matter. It's a mod security limitation and we need to know which rule is being hit causing it.

Many thanks

My ISP says it is rule "77142267" that they disabled. Everything is working for me after that.
