Here is a big collection of en-GB corrections, typos, spelling etc

Hope it is on the correct branch it seemed the most upto date I could find
Thanks brian, I'll merge it to mine then send it onto The core :-).

https://github.com/JEvents/JEvents/tree/jQuery

Is the usual JEvents main branch. Should probably change to staging at some point.

All these spelling corrections were lost during the last update.

Hello stevec4,

I've just checked the latest branch:

https://github.com/JEvents/JEvents/blob/jQuery/component/admin/language/en-GB.com_jevents.ini

And they are there as well as the latest download. Which are you seeing that is missing?

Many thanks

When I look at the file in com_jevents in the download for 3.4.33 , the admin en-GB has a few of the spelling errors fixed in the previous updates.
line 477 and 478 yearl,
line 672 thoses
line 679 addtional & specifally
line 1089 unreadble
line 1198 occursring
line 1324 permiossion
line 1508 perrmisisons

They are in the raw en-GB file you linked to as well just the line number are off a bit.

there was 100 or so misspelled colour but I will let that one slide

Was hoping there might be a fix for the "Featured" extension, as it doesn't pickup overrides en-GB nor it's own included language file(s).

Many thanks for the great work the Jev team is doing, a very valuable extension suite for the whole Joomla community (:

Hello,

Did you try with the Joomla! Administrator files since the featured plugin is a plugin which stores its files in the administrator area?

You are very welcome!

Many thanks
