Got v3.4.43 Stable.

I'm unable to delete a whole calendar or any event imported from iCal .CSV file.
I receive 403 on edit/save and "870 - This event cannot be deleted" no matter what.

I've already tried enabling Access Rights-JEvents authorization and creating users and enabling iCal import/export-Allow edit of iCal events.
So you want to delete an event which was import by iCalendar?

If you disable Authorised User Mode and make sure you a super user can you delete it?

Mnay thanks

I am the SuperUser and got no luck deleting any imported event.
How about you try importing a new csv and delete anything yourself to confirm the issue?

Hello,

We can indeed do that without any issues. I suspect you made have a courpt event, can you try going to JEvents -> Configuration and clicking save, now check if you have an orphans category?

Failing that, I would suggest you remove any events assigned to that ical via the database.

Many thanks

I've found out my CSV contained RRULE records separated by , comma, not by semicolon ;
That ruined deleting any of imported events.

I've corrected the CSV and now events do delete fine.. except... if I got RRULE repeatss set and I delete all events.. I still cannot delete the whole calendar, if any of repeats do exist:
Got an error "deleting this will make events unconnected - delete them first" inspite of no events exist.

Reason: jevents_vevent table still contains the event i sucessfully via backend.

I guess deleting the events currently work dreadfully - it should check EVERY table and kill the selected event records by event_id, but it does not.

Hello,

Actually I suspect you have a corrupt table and you have some partial events left behind from your RRULE issues maybe.

If you are importing by file, why not just import via the frontend into your default master calendar?

Many thanks
