Hello,

i think it is a simple question. How is it possible to show a custom field only in frontend editing, not in the backend form?
Like a privacy checkbox?
I have created a required checkbox field, but this should not be displayed in the backend.

Actually we do not provide a way to show different fields in backend and frontend, but you may use CSS to hide it.

OK thank for your reply. In this case is difficult to hide with CSS. It´s a required field. I need it to confirm the privacy statement in frontend form.

Hello,

Whilst Carcam is correct in the setting aspect. what about thinking slightly differently and instead set the field to be a specific access level when editing that your backend users don't have access too?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello

I also need a privacy field that is only visible in front-end processing. Because it is a mandatory field, it is not possible. I limited the field to different categories and tried not to output it via the access level in the backend. The field is not displayed, because the field is a mandatory field, the error message always appears that the field must be filled out. The problem is that it's only hidden via CSS.
