Create new calendar Google with URL

Maybe I'm not understanding how to deploy a linked Google calendar. The only calendars installed are "native". Using the create a new calendar option, there is no choice of the calendar type - the new calendar seems to be always "native". How can I use a Google calendar to drive JEvents please?
