Hi,

When the order goes through RSVP then Virtuemart connects the order with a different customer. How is that possible? The customer address information is then connected to two different accounts with two different tickets!!!

Regards,
Dick
Hi Dick,

This should not be possible at all. Unless the user fills out the RSVP Pro form which allows user registration and then goes and pays with Virtuemart which allows another registration, that could cause two registrations. IS that possible?

Many thanks

Hi Tony,

Apparently that is indeed what happens. But why it takes old customer info is beyond me. I tried it and it came up with customer info of somebody that ordered something 4 years ago!
What happens is:
The customer comes to RSVP and fills in the form. At checkout they discover that they want to change the amount of guests or pay from another computer (in general I think they have already filled in the necessary customer details and saved them). They either cancel the amount in VM or go back to the original RSVP form. Either way first time in VM they fill in their details and save them, second time round other details are filed in on the invoice.
The database shows that different customers get the same customer_number.
I haven't figured this one out yet :-(.

Dick

Hey Dick,

Ok so I am going to assume you are using a single computer for users to process their orders through? Is that right and the issue is with Virtuemart pulling other peoples info for registration correct?

If so, this is down to sessions and cookies. So what about clear Virtuemart cookies/sessions after X period or order completion? This isn't something JEvents can do, but it is something you can handle.

Many thanks
