Hi,
try to set permissions for an administrator for the backend. He shall get access to Jevents component with configuration access. But this menu item is only shown, if the user is a Super User. The administrator can access all other components and even do any configuration he wants (the only exception is the users panel).
Here is my information fprm the comntroll panel:
Perhaps someone can show me up my mistake!

Hello,
You will need to change the permissions inL JEvents -> Configuration -> Permissions
And allow backend access for that user group.

Hello Tony,
exact here was the problem. Allowing this user group configurations in jevents (ACL & options) throws an error in the assets database. With this entry in the database it was not possible to login to the backend. But after deleting the entry the users of the group have now access to the jevents config.
So problem solved!
