Okay - this may be an odd one.

I am using JEvents Locations to display a list of venues. I'm currently using the .locations.bloglist template, but want to switch back to the default venue list.

When I try to change the menu item in Joomla, i get a 403 Forbidden error. I'm logged in as a supersuer with rights to everything.

The other issue is that, even without being able to change the menu item, the page itself wii not display. I get a 500 - Layout bloglist_map not found.

I've tried repairing the database, rebuilding the menu system, clearing caches, etc.

Is there anything I'm missing? Is the issue in JEvents? Or is it deeper in Joomla?

Hello,

So the 403 issue is likely a mod_security rule hit within your server. Can you raise that with your host on how to re-create? I've noticed this on litespeed servers before and I see yours is a litespeed server.

Can we get super user logins and FTP so we can review the error'd page.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

I can confirm this is triggered by your mod_security at the host level. Can you ask them to find the rule that is being triggered and to whitelist it?

Many thanks
