The new Jevents has a but and you can't save the config.
Hello,

That looks like you have a PHP Error. Did you have some Club Addons installed before updating?

Can you please provide your JEvents Support info from the JEvents Control Panel.

Many thanks

I guess your looking for this,

29179G1546F43E-8FBE-8E51-27E8-756E56AD6023

Which is what I have, I'm taking over the site but Fred who still has the site for now. So I don't have the login for the support on the subscription & I need to get this up and running before I take the site over.

I'd love to send you that but it won't let me get to that page due to the Config is not saved. I see on my other site what you are talking about.

Please enable Maximum Error Reporting In Joomla! global config and view the page again. Scroll to the bottom what do you see of the JEvents config page?

What updates are shown in the Joomla! Updater, Clear cache find updates.

Many thanks

Did you try disabling the plugin: aridocsviewer ?

If your issue is a saving issue, please increase your max_input vars so:

https://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/item/unable-to-save-jevents-config

Many thanks

I'll bump old thread. Theres no category for jEvents 3.68

Fresh install - mysqli engine, utf8mb4_general_ci / utf8_general_ci in db settings.
.htaccess with max input fix

Installed jevents 3.6.8, went straight to the config and clicked save -> 403 forbidden

A 403 forbidden could well be an excessively strict setting in your hosting's security settings. Perhaps in mod_security - can you check your server logs or ask the hosting provider for advice.

Re the 403, I suspect this is caused by litespeed and mod security. Try disabling mod_security and if that works ask your host to add an exception for the rule that's being hit.

Many thanks
