can not change descriptions

I have the JEvent calendar installed and everything worked pretty well so far. Now there is a strange error:
I can no longer enter the description in an event and can not change descriptions entered earlier. What has happened there? Where can I correct it?

That is strange. Can you try changing to the native editor? IT could be something in JCE 2.8.1

Thank you for your help ! I found the solution !
In JCE Editor I had limited in the Blogger profile the Components to "JEvents". That work several weeks. The User Group was set to Publisher.
After Update the JCE to 2.7.20 this worked no longer !!! for whatever reason ! This caused the problems I described above.
Now I set the Components to ALL and the User Group to ALL. That did also not work.
Then I set only the User Group to "Publisher" again .... AND IT WORKED as before, without mistake.
Only the new JCE 2.8.1 seems to have a problem.
In Editor window it often shows no reaction, when you change formatting. It is a bug in the new version.
But I cannot tell them, because you have to subscribe and I don't want to subscribe. So they must live with their mistakes.
