I would like to create website with activities who will have starting and ending date.
Calendar should show all activities and when you click on specific activity you should be able to see details for it.
Also, it would be great if I have option to filter activities within selected year as well as activities who passed ending date (marked in red). with date counter up.
It would be great (but not mandatory) if creating activities can be available from front end as well as from back end.
Is it possible with this JEvents extension.

This is all possible with JEvents. You will need the time limit plugin for the date range filter on the frontend.
