As a Superuser I can add attendees to a roster from the front end , I have tried setting up another user to have permission to do this but I can only get Jevents to show the Attendees edit button to a super user.
See attached screen dump

It would be really helpful if i could set permissions for another user to be able to do this without giving them full superuser status. there must be a way I just cant see it.

The link to the manage attendees page is available to the event creator, JEvents admin users and users who can delete the event.

Is the user authorised to delete the event?

I may have found the solution within permissions for Jevents config by setting the Configure ACL & Options as allowed for a Event Manager user.

Is this the right way is there any concerns giving an event manager this permission?

No this did not work fully
it allows the event manager to see the attendees but not to add or edit them the options New Delete and Export are still missing from this group

I think I have finally figured it out, I could not get it to work by just editing an existing Jevents admin user but when I created a new one it now shows them what I want

Thanks

The thing about permissions in Joomla is sometimes when access levels are changed the user needs to logout and login to see the effect. Is that possibly what happened?
