Hello - I recently tried to install gcalendar to my site and it locked up the slider and the hover function in the Bonus Theme's Education template. With the calendar extension do you think I will have similar problems with JEvents? Thanks

Hello,

We use the Joomla! Official MooTools Library for JEvents. Some times we do have other modules and components using JQuery and not loading it in No.Conflict so when we use MooTools they clash.

But please try out our calendar which is Free and let us know if you have any problems.

You can then upgrade your membership so you can enhance JEvents.

Regards
Tony

Your template uses a javascript library to create the animation effects. Its possible there could be a clash between that and the javascript library that JEvents uses (which is the official one that Joomla provides).

99% of the time there is a setting that can be set in the template to eliminate the clash.

If you join the club and setup JEvents and find there is a clash then you can send us the URL and we can identify the clash and advise you on how to correct it. If we are unable to eliminate the problem we can refund your membership.
