Calendar Menu mixed PT BR and English

Hello, my name is Felipe, and I'd like to know how can I fix a translation.

On my Calendar, there are the following options of filtering:
- By Year - this one is in english
- By Month - this one is in english
- Go to month - this one is in brazilian portuguese

How can edit to be completely translated to brazilian portuguese? The translation I got from the website translation pack.

Good afternoon Tonyp,

I'm really sorry about the delay to try and aswer. I'm working hard in a project and I haven't continue the website.

Today I spent all day trying to "translate" the two words. I found the translation file on: joomla/language/pt-BR/pt-BR.com_jevents.ini

I probably found the strings:
; JEV_VIEWBYMONTH="Por mês"
; JEV_VIEWBYYEAR="Por Ano"

I changed, but it continue in English. Can you help me please? I just need to do that to finish the layout modification.

As you can see, on nav bar part of the menu is in English and I need it in Portuguese.

I tried to change by the tutorial you gave me, however, I found the string only in English, I tried to change there, but didn't work.

Hello Felipe,

IF you therefore create the new language string in your language and your text it will be override. The overrides can have totally new unset language strings too :-).
