Hello,
the plugin "anonymous user" is nice, but there is a problem: If an anonymous user creates an event and saves in between, the registration form appears and we get an email to accept the user. I think it is confusing and normally the user should only be able to save at the end of input. Do you have a solution for that? Perhaps it is possible to delete the save-button?

Thank you for help, Anke
Sorry - I am a little confused.

When they save the event they are being redirected to a registered users menu item and then prompted to login?

Can you set more of the fields to be 'required' in the JEvents config (event editing tab) then they would not be able to save before entering all the core details of the event,

Hello,
the most fields in our form are set to "required", as well "Veranstalter", only few are optional. Now, for example, if an user saves without an entry in the field "Veranstalter" (=organiser of events, is a required costum field), there is no fault message. Please have a look at the results in attachment (both: "save" and "save an close").

Thank you, Anke

Sorry for the delay in responding - I had surgery in hospital on Friday and I have been a bit distracted by it over the last week or so

Do you have the 'System - JSON Execution Wrapper" system plugin enabled? Its needed for this to work properly.

I think I found the cause of the problem.

Please unzip and upload this file to components/com_jevents/assets/js/JevStdRequiredFieldsJQ.js and clear your web browser cache or do a forced page reload before trying again.

Hello,
thank you for the file. After the upload it is possible to save the event. That is much better. But there is a new problem: Now everybody has to log-in at the site. In the configuration, the website is online. Please try here: http://test.kosa21.de/

The test site needs you to login in order to access it anywhere.

Is the login issue on the live site? Can you describe the steps required for me to see the problem

First I log-in at the administratorsite http://test.kosa21.de/administrator/. Then, for example I submit an event. If I open the live-site test.kosa21.de from there (with the button on top at the right side), I`m automatically on http://test.kosa21.de/component/users/?view=login. The same happens, if I enter test.kosa21.de. Until now we must not log-in twice.

I suppose, it would be the same at live-site http://www.kosa21.de and then nobody could visit our website. I didn`t try.

Sorry for the delay in responding - it was a public holiday here and my son has chicken pox and I'm having to look after him and work too

Can you give me the backend login details for the test site so I can take a look. I suspect its a menu item access issue.

Hello, now I had holidays. Please see the login details for the test site. Perhaps something looks different, because we just try to use seblod to create a filter for projects and desctiptions.

The problem is in one of your modules - see http://test.kosa21.de/?tmpl=component

Try disabling them one at a time to find the one causing the issue
