After the migration to Joomla 4, the appointments are still available in the calendar. However, no further appointments can be added and the detailed view does not show any content.
The Upcoming events module still lists the dates but does not show any details.

In a backup of the website I deleted JEvents, removed all database entries and reinstalled the component. The behavior is the same. Appointments can be created, but are not displayed in the calendar.

live Site: http://www.melomania.me
see on Startpage upcoming events

there is one Event but no Details

Tanks
Hello,

Can you verify categories of each event ? For each event, I have to update category (to replace default by the good category) and statut (published)

All settings are correct. The events are therefore also displayed in the calendar (upcoming events and monthly calendar). Only the details page shows no content. Please test this via the live url, then you will probably understand it better.

Hi, when I have updated JEvents, I met an eccentric problem : I changed date format and it did not work : I want to display hour "on 24 hours" , 21:00 and not 9:00 for example.
To solve this problem, in first time, I choice "US" format, I check event page, and I change to "French-English" format ...

Have you some idea to explain this bug ?

Have you used any JEvents club layouts in the past - specifically the hidden event detail plugin? That could end up hiding the event details.

The details don't show in the day list or week list view either https://melomania.me/live/termine/eventsnachtag/2023/3/11/-

Can you disable all your customised layouts to see if that helps?

That is VERY strange - I temporarily enabled Joomla Debug mode for (super users only) and also a temporary template override and can see that the database is returning a valid set of event details but not displaying them for some reason.

I am wondering if you have a system plugin that is causing the output to be lost before is it rendered?

Are you using something new since you upgraded to J4?

You put me on the right track! Thank you!
Yes, I have been using a new template and various plugins, modules and components since the migration. Unfortunately, this is absolutely necessary. But these are not the problem.

I was able to identify the “Easy Content Restriction” plugin by Viktor Vogel as the cause. As soon as the plugin is deactivated, JEvets will display the entries correctly again. Unfortunately, changing the activation order doesn't help either. Only if I permanently deactivate “Easy Content Restriction” will the calendar entries all be displayed correctly.

I will contact Viktor.

Feel free to take a look on my website to watch the problem is temporarely solved

Kind regards

P.S. can you help me to make an override? The main color in JEvents view by period is red but I want it shown in my color

If you use the club theme Flatplus (a mobile responsive version of the flat theme you use at present) you can configure the colour of the bars to match your sites.

The Iconic club theme allows you to set the colours using a gradient as not just a solid colour
