A list of categories

Hello guys,

The website I'm currently working on is about shows and concerts. All of these events need to have their own page with a description and underneath that a list of the dates these shows take place. This is easy to create with a category view in JEvents, where the show is a category, the description of the show will be shown first and all of the dates in this category will be listed underneath.

Is there an (over)view, where I can show a list of subcategories (in my case shows) inside of another category (in my case something like musical)

Also I would like to alter the design of the single page of shows I mentioned above and the list of dates, so I can divide them into monthy sections and add headlines to them.
