Regarding JEvents 3.1

I have a client using the events Calendar who has a problem with the Jump to Month. There are events entered for 2019 and they show on the calendar, but onlt 2017 & 2018 show on the dropdown list for the Jump to Month.

Advice would be much appreciated. I didn't originally set the site up, so I am flying blind a bit with JEvents.
Hello,

No problem. Go to JEvents -> Configuration -> First tab (Component)

First Year to Display in Calendar or Years BEFORE Now
Last Year to Display in Calendar or Years AFTER Now

Make sure they are set to say -2y and +2y

So it's dynamic, do they show now? If that causes and error user further dates instead like 2025 for the future as your version may not support relative dates.

Many thanks

The first tab I have in JEvents component is Control Panel, I also have Manage Events and Manage Categories, so I cannot follow your helpful instructions.

All that shows for the tab Control Panel are 2 graphics links to Manage Events and Manage Categories.

There is a message to update the version of JEvents and also to update Joomla. I have tried previously to update Joomla but am unable to. I can't recall the reason. The site was developed by other people some years ago.

Joomla V 2.5.11

JEvents 3.1.47

I will assume that JEvents 3.1.47 will not install on my version of Joomla.

Is there anything else I can do to fix the problem?

Thank you

Hello,

So from the control panel you need to click configuration and if it's called JEvents Component on the first tab that is the same as component.

You need to upgrade joomla! to a minimum of 2.5.28 for security reasons.

Then for JEvents you are a bit stuck until you can upgrade to Joomla! 3.9.x.

If you join the silver club I can take a look at your site for you if you provide super user and FTP details to fix the current issue.

Many thanks

I don't see anywhere labelled Configuration. Control Panel reveals nothing.

Hello,

Your user does not have full rights for the CMS you are just an administrator and not a super user.

Many thanks
